When I come to your event, I'm there to serve you and your audience. I will provide biblically-based, practical, sometimes- humorous and always encouraging content.
I love speaking at both small and large events, and am glad to travel to your location or speak online/virtually.
The world needs hope, and it's my honor and privilege to share with your group about the hope I've found in Christ.
When you contact me, I'll reach out about whether I'm available for that specific date/time.
Next, we'll talk about your goals for the event and your budget, what your audience needs, and how my experience can best benefit you.
If I'm a good fit for your audience and the date works, we can proceed with planning next steps. I block out the date, we talk about payment and contracts, and start getting excited about working together.
NEXT STEPS
I'm ready!
You've thoroughly combed through my website, blog and Instagram feed and you are excited about what I do. The next step is sending me a note about your event! I'll review your inquiry and get back to you about whether I think it's a good fit.
WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING
"Recently, Dena led the women of our church in studying 'Wounded Women of the Bible.' Our women loved her engaging, relatable, and authoritative style of sharing insights into the Word of God. We all left each week with a renewed sense of hope that God has a plan for our lives."
Dena is engaging and relatable.
"A relative who hadn't set foot in the church for years came and what she heard from you—from the Lord—was that God loves imperfect, wounded women. Even now, my eyes are welled up with tears as I think about the miracle that God used you to perform!"
Thank you again for speaking and doing such an amazing job.
My topics relate to the books I've written. I talk about women of the Bible, living with wounds and weariness, grace for hard places, parenting and marriage, and getting older with humor and gratitude.
I decide on a fee on a case-by-case basis, because every event and talk is different. That being said, if I quote you a rate that too's high for you, we can definitely talk about other options that might fit your needs.
I do require a small deposit and a contract from meeting/event planners, which actually protects us both. That way, expectations are clear from the beginning, on both sides.
I would love to have a book table if at all possible, because one of the main reason I speak is to connect with those who might be encouraged by my books.
I'm pretty flexible. I can speak with a handheld or wireless mic, and with or without Powerpoint. Other than a good PA system so people can hear me, I'm pretty low-maintenance (though my husband might beg to differ).
If your event is outside of my immediate area, I will need funds for gas (if I'm able to drive), meals, and flight/hotel for overnight trips. I will provide my own coffee budget, because it can get high. :)
